Murphy arrived at TEARS Animal Rescue a year and a half ago with a severe case of Sarcoptic Mange. With dedicated veterinary care, nutritious food from Hill’s Pet Nutrition, and a lot of love, he made a full recovery and blossomed into a healthy, confident dog.

Just over two months ago, Murphy made his move—choosing Ryan and Maaike as his forever family. Now thriving in his new home near the beach and dog park, Murphy has become a cherished companion and, according to his family, quite the “Couch Inspector” and “Flip-Flop Monitor.”

His daily routine includes morning socialisation at the park, weekend mountain adventures, and testing his humans’ responsiveness with gentle mischief. Ryan and Maaike have embraced their new roles as pet parents with enthusiasm, enjoying the structure and joy that comes from life with a four-legged family member.
